Phils R69US 1968
This machine is a 1968 BMW R69US featuring a telescopic front end, a 4:00 rear tyre and a wide seat which characterised this model for sale in the USA only. It has been restored using numerous parts from Uli, including a new crankshaft. The colour chosen was based on the blue segments of the BMW roundel badge. It's a very comfortable cruiser! PeeVee

12 V- Drehstrom-Lima orig. 180 W
Gepäckbrücke und orig. Denfeldbank, 12 V- Drehstrom-Lima orig. 1951 BMW R25/2
Hello, I am sending you an update photograph of my 1951 BMW R25/2. We took this photograph after this year's (August 2009) Bonneville Speedweek. In frame is Ron Brown, who drove the bike this year for me (he is much smaller, gives a 5 MPH speed advantage over my big bulky body) and me. Ron and I live in near Tacoma, Washington. Not pictured is Kevin Brooks from Olympia, Washington, who prepared the engine for this years run at Bonneville. Warm Regards, Rob
